Kforce has a client that is seeking an Insurance Billing Specialist in Saint Louis, MO. Essential Functions: * Insurance Billing Specialist will submit insurance billing claims in connection with insurance requirements; Reviews claims for accuracy and completeness, and obtains missing information * Follows up on unpaid, rejected or denied claims; Identifies and corrects billing errors/rejections and denials; Ensures that claims are resolved in a timely manner * Works with supervisor and program team members to ensure accurate billing; Coordinates with program departments to ensure accurate coding and billing practices * Posts payments and adjustments, and updates accounting records accordingly * Compiles reports and other documents using billing software; Analyzes and monitors data to assist with billing process management * As an Insurance Billing Specialist, you will communicate with internal teams, clients and insurance companies regarding billing questions and payment issues; Researches and resolves billing and payment issues * Manages patient responsibility invoices and works with families on financial agreements, terms and collections * Evaluates insurance billing operations and identifies efficiency improvements
