Primary Duties of the Insurance Licensing Coordiantor are:
Assist in processing licensing, appointments and terminations in multiple states for all agents and agencies, inputting and updating data in departmental database and collecting and reviewing all supporting documentation.Assists with the initiation and processing of renewals of Property/Casualty (P&C), Motor Club (MC), Travel and Life/Health (L & H) licenses/appointments and processes terminations of licenses/appointments as needed, in compliance with multiple state insurance department regulations.
Data entry into an accurate up-to-date licensing and appointment database and source documentation subject to both internal and external audits. Consult with Specialist or Supervisor regarding questionable situations that may require input from Operations Manager, Corporate Legal or Human Resources Departments.
Courteously handle inquiries concerning insurance licensing, problems in service, and products or delivery within AAA Club Alliance with internal or external clients.
Maintain the ability to handle multiple activities, requiring the application of a substantial variety of policies and/or procedures to be used in combination.
Assist with the updating and review of all departmental procedures. Recommend new methods and procedures for departmental improvement; assist with inter-company allocations and budgeted, business related expenses for all Licensing.
Assist with processing of new insurance, travel and membership licenses in multiple states, appointment requests for other carriers, and appoint and terminate agents as required by State(s) Department of Insurance.
Assist with the communication of requests and assignment of new agent credentials and connectivity with all agency carriers as appropriate and assures dissemination of that information with Agency Accounting, AAA Club Alliance Systems, Insurance Sales Help Desk and front-line management.
Assist with tracking of licensing renewals and communicate with front line agents and their management on progress to remain compliant with State Insurance Department requirements.
The ideal candidate will have:
Associate’s Degree in Business or related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
1 to 2 years of on-the-job experience in an insurance/business environment.
Property/Casualty License preferred but not required.
Familiarity of regulatory procedures.
Ability to acquire a Notary Public designation.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Access.

The starting base compensation for this position is $12.83 to $24.62 hourly. The base pay range shown is a guideline for compensation and ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.
