Insurance Verification Associate – St. Peter's Hospital – Full Time - Days

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking an individual to assist with clerical duties associated with keeping the department running smoothly!

THIS POSITION IS ESSENTIAL FOR OBTAINING AUTHORIZATIONS WITHIN THE OUTPATIENT MEDICAL IMAGING DEPARTMENTS AS WELL AS BEAVIORIAL HEALTH.

What you will do:
The position entails obtaining pre-certification and pre-verification information for third party payers/managed care contracts.

What you will need:
A qualified candidate would need to possess excellent communication skills
Strong computer keyboarding accuracy
Knowledge of medical terminology and various insurance companies.
Requirements:
A minimum of 1-year experience in working with health insurance is required.
High School diploma or GED is required

*All new employees are required to undergo and pass all applicable state and federally mandated pre-employment screening requirements.

Pay Range:$16.70 - $21.40

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
