INSURANCE VERIFICATION REPRESENTATIVE

Key responsibilities of this role include:
Directly Calling Insurance Companies to obtain Insurance BenefitsHandling financial obligations prior to proceduresCoordinating self-pay referrals to the eligibility serviceAppropriately documenting and reporting payment informationCommunicating with patients regarding insurance benefits, payment plans and expectationsWorking with Upper Management and Administration Staff for approvalsMust be able to multi-task in fast pace environmentWill be working with multiple programs at one timeKey qualifications to be considered for this position include:
High School Diploma or GED requiredOne year of customer service or office experience requiredAt least two years of registration/insurance verification experience in an acute care hospital or clinic preferredAbout Northwest Health
