Description We are looking for an organized and experienced Insurance Eligibility Specialist to become part of our team. In this role, you will be essential in validating and ensuring the accuracy of insurance details, helping maintain seamless operations for our healthcare services. This position is ideal for individuals with extensive knowledge of insurance authorization procedures and proficiency in using EPIC software (Source: SG25 US Healthcare.docx). Key Responsibilities: + Confirm the accuracy of patient insurance information within the system. + Navigate authorization protocols for HMO, PPO, and Medicare Outpatient services, including capitation knowledge + Work collaboratively with departments to address insurance eligibility or authorization concerns. + Keep precise and well-organized records of insurance verifications and authorizations. + Comply with internal and external regulations, aligning all processes with compliance standards. + Deliver outstanding customer service to both patients and internal stakeholders. Requirements Qualifications: + Proficiency with EPIC software is required. + In-depth understanding of HMO, PPO, and Medicare Outpatient authorization processes, including capitation requirements. + Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Preferred Skills: + Previous experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry. + Familiarity with medical billing processes and related certifications. + Strong communication and organizational skills.
