Insurance Wholesale Broker/Producer
Summary of Position  Falvey Insurance Group (FIG) is a Unified Insurance Platform who is currently the largest Marine Coverholder in Llyod’s of London. FIG represents a consortium of insurance carriers, underwriting across specialized verticals including Marine Cargo, Pollution, Inland Marine, and Logistics. Tapping into over 1,000 currently appointed agents, our expertise in a niche vertical makes us the go to in the space. Position Functions  This position’s functions include: + Develop and maintain relationships with insurance agents, brokers, and other industry professionals to generate new business. + Prospect, qualify, and onboard new agency partners to expand the company’s market presence. + Identify client needs and match them with appropriate insurance products and solutions. + Negotiate terms and pricing with agents and carriers to help find solutions for clients. + Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities  The Wholesale Broker/Producer requires a dynamic and motivated professional with strong sales, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Success in this position depends on the ability to prospect and onboard new clients, manage being in the middle of a deal, and close deals while maintaining long-term relationships with agents and underwriters. A strong understanding of insurance products, multiples lines of business, and underwriting guidelines is essential to provide valuable solutions to clients. This role demands exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of work efficiently. Candidates must be skilled at prioritizing tasks, ensuring accuracy in submissions, and responding quickly to client needs. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are crucial for navigating complex deals and overcoming day to day challenges. A self-motivated and results-driven mindset is key, as the ideal candidate will take ownership of their success, work independently within a team environment, and strive to maximize earnings. Other Requirements  + Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an insurance broker and/or wholesale broker is preferred.  Past experience should include Wholesale Broking, MGA, or Carrier work. + Preferred but not required: strong knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas—ocean marine, inland marine, property, and logistics insurance. + Proven record of business development and production responsibilities is required. + Must be willing to obtain Property & Casualty Producer’s License within company allocated time frame from date of employment.  Physical Requirements  Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of times, communicate via telephone, and operate a computer including the Microsoft Suite. Supervisory Responsibilities  None to start. Possible in the future. Equipment Used  Computer & telephone Hours of Operation & Working Conditions  This is a 40+ hour a week position with base daily hours to be determined by the location of the candidate.
