POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Intake Coordinator will assist with the management and organization of clinical services for patients entering CARD; assist with diagnostic and incoming intake evaluations through clinical observation, assessment, report writing for CARD ABA services and other tasks as needed. This role involves gathering and documenting necessary information, assessing needs, and coordinating services to facilitate access to on-going care and support. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Clinical Intake team and the CEO.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide accurate assessment, evaluation, and treatment to patients
Manage and organize the path of incoming patients through the CARD Admissions process
Assist in the update and implementation of patient admission and intake workflows and processes
Collaborate with necessary departments to ensure established standards and regulations are followed
Assist in ensuring that services exceed CARD’s clinical quality standards
Collect and record data on patient progress with high fidelity
Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues
Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues
Maintain accurate and timely records
Always maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements
Represent CARD professionally and ethically to all stakeholders
Adhere to CARD policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent
Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) preferred

Willingness to work in a variety of locations (center, patient home, etc.)
Willingness to work with a variety of patients and caregivers as needed
Reliable means of transportation with proof of auto insurance for some locations
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility to work from your own space. While travel is not a requirement, we value candidates who are open to occasional travel opportunities, whether local or further afield, as they arise.

Be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Ability to work on a computer throughout the day, as tasks require
Ability to use and speak on the phone or via Teams, as needed throughout the day
