Overview Make a great choice with a career at Good Samaritan Nursing Home! The Intake Coordinator plays a key role in the admissions process for prospective residents/patients. This position involves gathering and screening admission-related documents, conducting interviews with applicants and their families/designated representatives, and ensuring seamless communication with referring institutions and families. The intake coordinator will also perform a variety of other tasks related to the admission process, providing critical support to the team. Job Details Key Responsibilities: Performing admission responsibilities by gathering and screening all documents related to the admission of prospective residents/patients. Conduct interviews with applicants and/or their families/designated representatives prior to admission. Notify referring institutions and/or families when beds become available. Complete intake paperwork and distribute it to the appropriate departments for processing. Schedule intake interviews for families/designated representatives. Mail necessary documents to referring sources. Conduct tours of the facility Perform other related duties as assigned, ensuring the smooth and efficient admission process. Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Note: All tasks and responsibilities are subject to change based on the needs of the organization Salary Range USD $27.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr. The pay for this position ranges from $27.00- $30.00 per hour. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
