Integrated Billing and Accounting Analyst

This role involves creating invoices, reconciling costs, maintaining accounting records, and supporting both internal and external audits. The position requires flexibility with working hours, including mandatory overtime during peak periods, weekends, and late hours until the implementation of new software is completed. Key Responsibilities: Billing Responsibilities: Create invoices with supporting documents, research and reconcile costs for fixed-price and reimbursable billings. Perform Book Cost to Billed Cost reconciliations for each contract. Coordinate with personnel from various departments to ensure complete and accurate documentation for billing and subsequent collection. Monitor and research costs, and request journal entries to ensure costs are accumulated correctly. Obtain Statements of Completion of Work (SOCOWs) and apply them to monthly billings as needed. Communicate with customers and personnel from various sites to gain and process accurate billing information. Assist during audits and ensure all tasks are performed according to company policy. Accounting Responsibilities: Perform Program level ASC 606 Revenue Recognition analysis and documentation. Conduct Program Profit & Loss analysis and Month End close duties. Create projects in ERP and perform monthly account reconciliations using the ERP system. Maintain Program Level General Ledger vs. Subledger detail. Create and process journal entries as needed, resolving accounting anomalies/discrepancies. Support internal and external audits and adhere to company policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data. Participate in other projects and initiatives as assigned. Assist co-workers and those in other departments to successfully perform job tasks and functions when necessary. Follow all safety policies and practices as established by the company and/or regulatory bodies. Other duties as assigned and or directed by management. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred. Experience: 0-2 years of experience in GL accounting and Government Contract accounting preferred. IFS and Excel experience preferred. Other Requirements: Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a public trust position (if required for the position). Ability to work weekends, other shifts, and mandatory overtime as required. Ability to travel as needed and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills. Software: Microsoft Office Suite Technology: Personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment. The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company. USD $ 43,888 - 60,000 Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
