The primary responsibilities of the Integrated Business Planning Manager are to lead the strategy, design, testing, rollout and performance monitoring for support of Smithfield Supply Planning systems. This role is critical in the rollout of new functionality and enhancements of existing tools and functionality which support supply planning. This includes but is not limited to: Anaplan, SAP, Logility Planning Solutions, A4O, BW/BI, Excel, etc.  The Integrated Business Planning Manager is responsible for all projects that involve Supply Planning tool functionality, support of migrating users to new tools, process management creation, and troubleshooting existing issues. This role is also responsible for playing the role as super user for supply planning, reporting and deployment. The role understands master data as it relates to MPS, DRP and deployment planning. Additionally, this role supports ad-hoc business analytics and reporting to identify trends and support Smithfield’s’ S&OP process.

Core Responsibilities

Drive the systems strategy and communication with IT Business Partner by interpreting business rules and requirements to IT for implementation

Update business users on new functionality design & rollout of supply planning tools

Coordinate Testing and Training within the business

Work with users to manage system setting impacting system performance and/or data output

Have basic understanding of manufacture and supply planning process

Project Planning

Global Capacity tool management

Monitors and supports as Super User to the following functions: Supply Planning Department, Inventory Co-coordinators and Supply Chain Analysts

Supports business reporting and advanced analytics through creation and deployment of Daily Dashboards, Supply Trackers, Global Capacity managements and MS Excel / Power BI / Other

Implement process re-design and enhancements that promote efficiency and information transparency based on current system

Acts as communication focal point for all systems related topics within Supply Planning

Support special projects as directed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and minimum 5+ year’s relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership is required.

Greenbelt and APICS certified, desired.

SAP experience (SD/PP/MM) or equivalent experience, required.

Previous experience with a consumer packaged goods industry, preferred.

Proven results with building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

Ability to gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.

Is able to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals

Background and understanding of supply chain management principles such as Production Planning, Purchasing, Forecasting, and Logistics.

Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, written and verbal communication and presentation skills to working level as well as executive levels

Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal & external business partners / customers

Computer skills/ability to work with various software packages. Strong knowledge of SAP & Logility required.

High competency in Microsoft Office tools

Knowledge of consumer goods production, operations and industry practices - Light travel may be required.

Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
