Integrated Care Recovery Support Navigator

**Overview**
$19-$22/hr
The Integrated Care Recovery Support Navigator provides care coordination to people building a recovery-based life as well as provide information and resources to Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) staff helping these individuals with regards to substance misuse problems.
**Minimum Education Required**

**Additional Shift Details**
This position can be part time (20 hrs/week) to full time (40 hours/week); hybrid position with occasional office time in Framingham.
**Responsibilities**
+ Engage individuals as they present in the treatment system for substance misuse problems and supports them in accessing relevant services.
+ Develop linkages with community resources that promote a sober, recovery focused lifestyle while addressing system barriers to a person's successful recovery.
+ Provide care navigation services to individuals with substance misuse and mental health problems to enhance treatment engagement, education and support throughout the continuum of care.
+ Work with individuals and their families to motivate and maintain them in culturally relevant behavioral health services in their community.
+ Act as a resource for CBHC staff regarding addiction resources, treatment models, and strategies for supporting individuals in recovery.
+ Attends and actively participates in all supervisions and staff meetings.
+ Attend trainings as assigned; maintain necessary certifications and licenses.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in human services, related field or discipline, or LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor), or has a recognized certification and/or licensure to work with some level of expertise and competence, with people with recovery-based needs.
+ The ideal candidate must possess knowledge and understanding about treatment for and recovery from substance use disorders.
+ The ideal candidate will have familiarity with community-based addiction services and resources in the geographic area and/or in Massachusetts.
+ Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
+ Basic computer knowledge.
+ Strongly prefer that a candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
+ Ability to read and write English.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
+ Must have valid driver’s license and access to an operational and insured automobile.
+ Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
