JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ILS Engineer works under the responsibility of the ILS Project Manager.
The role is to analyse and write the adequate ILS deliverables expected at defined stages of the projects. The scope of the project includes: Platform Screens Doors, Power Supply, Automatic Fare Collection, Depot Equipment.
Produce the Alstom’s ILS deliverables such as: Calculate, analyse and produce the Spare Parts Lists and the PHST data (Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation); Analyse the needs and requirements to defined the Special Tools Lists: Prepare the Training Materials and supports based on the technical documentation available: Gather all data from the suppliers and subsystems to write the Operation & Maintenance Manuals to meet the contractual requirements and ensure coherence with the project document format across the subsystems: Prepare and define the Maintenance Plans based on suppliers recommendations: Analyse the Maintainabiltiy Studies to ensure the RAMS targets are reached; Collect the assets’ information in order to create a system Asset Database that will be uploaded to the Project’s Computerized Maintenance Management System; Support the Training Facilities’ engineer as required; Support the Driving Simulator’s team as required; Be consistent with ILS processes implemented on the project (ILS Management Plan, Asset database, MMS, Planned dates, Obsolescence, etc..); Represent and be the contact point within the Project regarding ILS deliverables listed above; Coordinate the Obsolescence Activities with the subsystems’ Managers Review the ILS documentation produced by our partner as an ILS Consortium representative On the basis of the Contract requirements, maintain/update the management plans, processes, procedures, methods, and any other elements necessary for a proper management of ILS throughout the entire duration of the Contract
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements
University/Engineer degree level
Required skills
Railway Systems;
Operation and Maintenance Environment;
Railway Maintenance included Maintenance Management System;
Maintenance Studies including Life Cycle Cost;
Ability to read & understand technical drawings;
Spare Parts calculation and analysis models;
Spare parts and Special Tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
Behavior
Good written and oral communications;
Communication with transparency;
Collaboration/Teamwork;
Fluent in English (Filipino is an advantage)
Autonomy, accountability, organization;
High reactivity, proactivity and adaptability.
Required experience
Involvement in Railway Operation and Maintenance Entity as operator and/or maintainer
Involvement in complex system projects : > 3 years
Involvement in ILS-related activities : > 5 years
