Head of Integrated Reporting Tools

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will own the technical design and built of data products and services of the Integrated Reporting platforms using Snowflake, Anaplan and other technologies and supports Finance organization of ABB for Management and external reporting.You will be responsible for defining the data products which will be directly consumed by user or will be shared with broader data analytics teams. You will report to the Head of Integrated Reporting and manage a 4-5 members team of Model builders: •\tDefines the overall architectural and design of Finance Snowflake and Anaplan environment. •\tInterprets data, analyzes results and provide guidance through the team to the Manage deployment, configuration, and administration of Snowflake and Anaplan environments.•\tCollaborate with data architects to develop scalable data solutions.•\tEnsure security and compliance standards are met within the Snowflake, Anaplan environment.•\tCollates and prioritizes business and domain/functional use-cases to architect and design solutions to meet business needs.•\tManages the delivery of user-friendly analytics insights by improving and adapting through continuous solutions delivery, through active feedback from customers and stakeholders.•\tEnsures customer centricity and service excellence for internal stakeholders, peers, and customers.•\tOptimize the performance of Snowflake & Anaplan queries and data pipelines and acts as the escalation point for solution, performance and architecture & design related issues.•\tCollaborates with ABB IS team to approve, develop, and maintain technology roadmaps architecture standards, reference architectures, and architecture building blocks in integrated reporting tools. •\tCollaborates with users in projects and problem management to maintain, develop, and deploy the best feasible and most cost-efficient IS solutions/services for the business.•\tParticipates in broader solution development framework community of practices. Assesses the ideas for efficiency improvement and value addition and decides based on their technological, financial, and functional feasibilities.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.Minimum 5 years of proven experience in leading Snowflake implementation and management.Experience in a data science role, with a focus on analytics and data modeling in cloud environments.Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture.Experience with ETL tools, SQL, and data modeling.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Key Skills: Snowflake, Anaplan, SQL, ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend), Data modeling, Python, Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and Data security.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques. Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of scaling analytics projects in cloud environments.
