What you'll do:

Western Alliance Bank has established formal ITIL practices and the Integrated Risk Management Owner will be responsible for improving these processes through a risk-based lens, validating processes to meet organizational control objectives, and establishing governance backed by data.

What we are looking for:

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a key contributor to implementing ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM/GRC) at Western Alliance Bank. Design, implement, own, and manage the creation of multiple control measures as processes are implemented in ServiceNow.Develop metrics, governance program, and documentation for IRM processes.Participate in developing IT strategy and ensuring that processes support those objectives.Implement organizational IRM measures that are appropriate for different organizational audiences.Lead organizational change efforts related to new IRM functions and capabilities.Develop strong relationships with technology and business leaders, ensuring they are familiar with control reporting and how to use it to improve organizational outcomes.  Develop and manage a continual improvement plan for ITIL processes.

 

Education and Experience:

5 years of enterprise ITIL process management/ownership experience, with demonstrable expertise assessing Risk across multiple organizational functions or processes to include: CMDB, Asset, Change, Incident, Problem, and Event Management required.10 years in a risk management role with a clear understanding of control testing and common approaches to assess risk posture. CRISC or CERP certification is required.ITIL v3/v4 certification is required, to include courses beyond ITIL Foundations with demonstrable experience implementing enterprise processes.Familiar with risk and control frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, FFIEC, NIST, UCF, and how to apply and manage them operationally.Enterprise Vendor Management experience preferred.Experience/certification in COBIT, DevOps, Agile, Lean development, and Six Sigma preferred.Ability to demonstrate experience managing large organizational changes with excellent collaboration skills.

 

Competencies:

Confident and composed communicator with experience presenting to C-level leaders.Comfortable operating in white space without direction, including developing strategies, roadmaps, and improvement plans. Organizational change management expertise.Able to translate highly technical concepts into clear and easy-to-understand business terms.Drive results and support them with data.
