**ITS Transmission Specialist** Job Details **Location:** 241 Ralph McGill Blvd., Atlanta GA – GPC Corporate Office **Company:** Georgia Power Company **Department:** Integrated Transmission System (ITS) **Job Type:** Full-Time Job Summary Georgia Power is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transmission Specialist to join our Integrated Transmission System (ITS) team. This key position will coordinate the Company’s transmission investment and supporting documentation submissions to the ITS (JSTP), maintains ITS Transmission Investment databases and ITS Webserver, reviews audited projects for Joint Accounting, and handle administrative duties for ITS Committee meetings and logistics. This role gives you an opportunity to + Learn more about the Transmission System and the ITS, + Network with Accounting, Billing, Planning, & Project Management teams, and + Expand your computer and communication skills. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring delivery of ITS obligations, monitoring ITS activities, coordinating critical ITS meetings and updates, and growing internal ITS software & knowledge bases. Key Responsibilities + Lead several ITS Project Coordination meetings. + Develop, administer, research, and prepare ITS Projects for monthly ITS Parity inclusion. + Coordinate and preside over project reviews before submission to ITS (STWG, TPWG, JSTP, Dalton, GTC, MEAG, Pre-JSTP) + Document ITS Project Coordination processes. + Audit of the monthly ITS Project submittal updates. + Submit Georgia Power projects to the ITS in a timely manner. + Coordinate ITS meetings for GPC. + Update and communicate the ITS Calendar. + Route ITS contracts and procedures for signatures. + Maintain ITS Transmission Investment Databases and populate data from ITS participants (GPC, GTC, MEAG, Dalton). + Update and modify ITS SharePoint Sites and ITS Webserver. + Post documentation to ITS webserver and internal sites (projects to be presented, JSTP and JSOp procedure updates, final JSTP minutes). Job Requirements Qualifications + College or Vocational degree required + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field is a plus + Strong planning, organizing, coordinating, problem solving and project management skills. + Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools, such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word. Experience and Knowledge + Demonstrated Safety focus. + Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience. + Experience in the following areas is beneficial: + Power Delivery Accounting, Power Delivery Planning, ITS, Transmission Operations, Transmission Policy, Transmission Project Management, and/or Power Delivery Project Management. + General knowledge of Transmission, Distribution, ITS, Operations, Resource Planning, Transmission Policy, and related experience is a plus. + General industry knowledge of Georgia PSC, FERC, NERC, and SERC is a plus.
