Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Integration & Test Engineer to support a Navy-based IRAD effort. This role focuses on the integration and testing of a cutting-edge cloud architecture leveraging containerized technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Podman. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in container orchestration, Linux environments, and C++ development, with a passion for building and validating robust, scalable systems.
ResponsibilitiesLead and execute integration and test efforts for a cloud-native architecture supporting Navy systems.Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and reports based on decomposed system requirements.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to containerized applications and orchestration platforms.Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.Conduct performance and reliability testing of containerized services in a Linux-based environment.Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing frameworks.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.3+ years of hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes containers.Experience writing and executing test plans and procedures.Experience working in Linux environments.Experience developing or debugging in C++.Experience working with Agile development methodologies.Eligible for a US Secret Clearance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience decomposing high-level requirements into testable components.Experience with Navy or DoD systems and environments.Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or on-prem equivalents).Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $57.70 - $65.00/hr.
