Integration Architect

Job Description:

As the Integration Architect, you will design and implement scalable integration solutions using AIS, ODI and other relevant platform used across the enterprise. You will define integration patterns, ensure platform governance in-line with the security standards, and support both project and BAU activities to align with business needs.

About the role:

Lead and manage daily operations of integration platforms, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability to meet evolving business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to resolve incidents and service requests, ensuring SLAs are met and system performance is optimised. Identify platform risks and implement timely remediation strategies to ensure platform stability. Conduct capacity planning and forecast integration demand to prevent production disruptions and ensure operational continuity. Oversee the quality of platform updates and minor enhancements, accurately tracking resource utilisation and project milestones. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet compliance obligations and optimise platform performance. Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of integration solutions. Lead the design and enhancement of integration architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and adherence to industry best practices for performance, security, and scalability. Evaluate and recommend new integration tools and technologies, ensuring the platform remains adaptable and cutting-edge. Develop and maintain secure, real-time data integration strategies, facilitating seamless data flow between systems. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skills development. Oversee integration testing and validation processes, ensuring all changes meet performance and quality standards prior to deployment. Lead the deployment of new integration technologies, ensuring smooth adoption across the organisation.

About You:

Proven experience (8+ years) in designing, implementing, and managing integration platforms using technologies like Azure Integration Services and Oracle Data Integrator or similar middleware platforms. Extensive knowledge of integration architecture, including designing and implementing APIs, message brokers, and ETL pipelines to enable seamless data flow between systems. Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale integration projects, including working with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and offshore resources. Experience with capacity planning, demand forecasting, and performance monitoring for integration systems to ensure scalability and stability. Hands-on experience with governance frameworks and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices. Experience leading automation initiatives within integration workflows, focusing on enhancing efficiency and reducing manual interventions. Proven track record of mentoring and leading technical teams, with a focus on continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and team development. In-depth understanding of modern integration patterns and technologies (e.g., SOA, microservices, event-driven architecture) to design scalable and flexible solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and work collaboratively with business and IT teams. Project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives, manage timelines, and coordinate across multiple teams to deliver successful integration projects. Knowledge of cloud computing principles and how integration platforms fit into hybrid or fully cloud-based environments, particularly within Azure.
