About the Role

The Integration Architect Principal will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the integration vertical, driving the strategic and operational integration landscape of the organization. This role encompasses ownership of existing integration platforms, including Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), microservices platforms, and non-API based integrations.

The Integration Architect Principal will be responsible for overseeing Integration related developments, providing guidance and expertise to ensure superior outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with integration platforms and demonstrate a proactive approach to optimizing and enhancing the organization's integration capabilities.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Technical Leadership (40% of time):

   - Define and drive the integration strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and technology roadmaps.

   - Own and manage the AIA-PH’s integration platforms, including ESB, microservices platforms, and non-API based integrations.

   - Oversee the development and management of APIs, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and security standards.

 - Recommend appropriate integration methodologies to Solution Architects, aligning with AIA standard processes and project requirements.

2. Project and Development Oversight (10% of Time):

 - Provide technical support and clarification during Solution Architecture activities, ensuring accurate and efficient integration solutions.

3. Innovation and Technical Excellence (20% of Time):

   - Conduct in-depth research and development on emerging technical trends, delivering recommendations to the project/solutioning team for strategic planning.

   - Continuously assess and provide recommendations for optimizing costs related to integration platforms, contributing to efficient infrastructure/license management.

4. SME and Management (30% of Time):

   - Guide application integration processes, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across various systems and platforms.

   - Proactively find opportunities for innovation and optimization within the integration landscape to enhance performance and reduce complexity.

   - Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business partners, to ensure successful integration project delivery.

   - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and integration standards, promoting consistency and quality in integration practices.

  - Provide training, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement in integration capabilities.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

A bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering

Experiences:

Minimum 10 years of experience in Integration product such as SoftwareAG, WSO2, MuleSoft • Experience and a strong foundational knowledge of technology and IT operations.

Hands on experience in latest cloud integration technologies / standards etc.
