Overview

Chubb is looking for an Integration Engineer to join our team.  This is a permanent full-time position and a compelling opportunity to join a global, growing, financially stable and successful company.  As an industry leader, Chubb is an employer of choice for skilled technology professionals aspiring to develop a meaningful career in a fast-paced, diverse company with offices in most major cities in the world. You will focus on the delivery of client engagements from integration perspective, you will be responsible for collaborating with different teams to integrate various software systems, ensuring seamless functionality and data synchronization using Biztalk solution. 

The team’s key initiatives are focused on the delivery of integrated platforms across submission, rating, underwriting, policy admin and claims as well as providing enhanced data analytics and business intelligence. To support this transformation, the P&C IT team is growing to ensure and support the delivery of our systems to a high-quality standard and to enhance the engagement with the business. 

Responsibilities:

Designing, developing, and deploying BizTalk solutions using best practices. Developing and configuring custom pipelines, orchestrations, adapters, maps, and schemas in BizTalk Server. Troubleshooting and debugging issues related to BizTalk solutions. Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, operational procedures, and documentation for support teams. Collaborate with the scrum master and business stakeholders to gather requirements and define application functionality. Review and recommend improvements to existing system designs and engineering processes. Stay updated with the latest features and industry trends.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, engineering or another related field. At least 5 years of experience as a BizTalk developer, including hands-on experience with BizTalk Server 2016 or later versions.  Strong knowledge and understanding of BizTalk Server architecture, including the use of BizTalk administration and Developer Tools. Proficiency in developing and configuring custom pipelines, orchestrations, adapters, maps, and schemas in BizTalk. Experience in developing and deploying BizTalk solutions using continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies. Knowledge of message-based integration patterns, enterprise service bus (ESB) architecture, and service-oriented architecture (SOA) concepts. Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, such as SQL Server, .NET Framework, and Visual Studio. Experience in working with web services and integrating with various systems, such as databases, ERP systems, and CRM systems. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving issues related to BizTalk solutions. Excellent communication skills in English for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting technical specifications. Experience with tracking tools like Jira. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

The following will be considered a plus: 

Experience in the Insurance or Banking Sectors.  Experience in Microsoft BizTalk Server (BizTalk Server Adapter pack, BizTalk BAM, EDI and HIPAA 5010). Experience with source version control, preferably GitHub. Experience in relational database designs and database development such as creating tables, stored procedures, running query profiles.  Experience with test driven development.  Knowledge of Agile, CI/CD and experience working in Agile, CI/CD development teams
