Job Description

Role Summary:

We’re currently looking for an Integration Financial Controller to join the Global Finance Services Team based in Cyberjaya and report to EMAP Regional Assistant Controller.

 

You will be responsible for balance sheet integrity, supporting main financial processes including month end close, statutory financial reporting, tax compliance and managing external audit relationships. You will ensure compliance and control on processes, adherence to policies and will be one of the primary contacts for audits. You will also work with the Regional, Country, and Global finance colleagues. We are looking for someone who not only has the capability to meet technical requirements but also displays the behaviors needed to interact with stakeholders across countries and cultures.

 

About the role:  

Deliver accurate financial reporting to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual for month end closing while maintaining the compliance to accounting policiesEnsure compliance with all statutory filings and reporting deadlines for all entities and countries within the market.Ensure efficient completion of internal and external statutory audit, tax filings, submission to authorities within deadlines.Manage variance analysis for balance sheet and identify risk and opportunities. Be a trusted advisor and provide recommendations to mitigate risks to support financial targetsSupport commercial business on any controllership aspects ie. contracts with customersExplain and implement the accounting standards, delegated authority matrix and Experian policies and assess control riskIdentify process standardization and optimization of reporting opportunities and deliver ways to simplify the finance processes to create informative, value-adding outputsProvide support on acquisition/integration projects to align the process with Experian policies

 

Qualifications

More About you:

5+ years’ relevant experience in audit or controllership with CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA qualification or equivalentExperience in financial reporting, including dealing with stakeholders in different global locations. Knowledge of and experience using financial reporting systems (such as Hyperion Smartview, Tableau) would be preferredExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders remotelyExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and is highly logical and numeratePresent ideas and opinions in a collaborative, credible and influential mannerA continuous improvement mindset and experience in process improvement will be an added advantage
