Integration/Migration Project Manager

Base Skills:

Thorough working knowledge of SDLC models/methodologies, IT System and processes, and project management practices. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to achieve the goals of the project. Ensure that all phases of the project are delivered on-time, within scope and work remains aligned with the projects strategies and goals. Work with vendor and key project lead to ensure project scope and objectives are being met. Provide guidance to area leads, project team and vendor resources. Support the development and deployment of project management standards, guidelines, and processes. Ensure resource availability and continuous allocation. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Report and escalate to management key impacting issues. Perform risk management to assess project impact and effectiveness of mitigation strategies. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors project management and technical leads. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals. Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints where appropriate. Jointly develop with the team a comprehensive project plan that aligns with the vendors work effort as well as the organizations time and budgetary constraints.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

Bachelors degree in computer science or related study and equivalent work experience. Seven (7) years of proven working experience in project management. Prior experience with integration or migration related projects. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. Systems Architectural experience is a plus.
