Credence is seeking an Integration Support Specialist to join the team responsible for accomplishing various integration and support activities surrounding the Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC). The position is located in the CSpOC Capabilities Integration Office (CCIO), which is a specialty team within the Space Delta-5 (Del-5) organizational structure.

 

This position is based out of Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA.

 

Candidate will interface with active duty military personnel, government civilians, and other contractors on a daily basis, and work in a professional, team-oriented, dynamic, diverse, supportive, and up-beat environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Supporting the effective integration of new and/or upgraded mission capabilities.Coordinating external organizations’ requests to participate in various system testing activities, tracking on-going and scheduled testing activities, and providing supporting details to both the unit and the original requesting agencies surrounding the testing. Supporting the sustainment activities of current mission systems by aiding with coordinating the details of modifications, upgrades, and fix efforts to existing mission capabilities.Supporting various system-level configuration management activities for Space Delta-5/CSpOC mission systems and capabilities used to execute the space command and control (C2) mission.Coordinating with Space Operations Command (SPOC), requisite AF major commands (MAJCOMs), various system program offices (SPOs), United States Space Force (USSF), and other agencies as necessary, to ensure timely identification and details of future and/or pending operational capabilities, or issues impacting current capabilities.Synchronizing the delivery and integration details of new, agile-developed, software mission applications and capabilities, upgrades, or modifications.Providing routine status updates and risk identification for assigned programs.Planning, coordinating, and participating in support activities such as planning meetings, project review boards, technical interchange meetings, user interface and feedback sessions, configuration control boards, etc.Managing the coordination and dissemination of capability development details, integration information, and system-level configuration management documentation.Supporting the CSpOC/Space Delta-5 (Del-5) Leadership, Technical Director, and CCIO Chief in various activities and discussions involving, higher headquarters, system program offices, or developers.Maintaining integration and configuration status information documentation, procedures, and processes for the various mission system support efforts.Assisting in maintaining a current CSpOC-centric configuration status.Working with unit members to advocate and manage the identification, consolidation, and tracking of CSpOC capability shortfalls and associated mission needs.Interfacing, advising, and briefing senior military leaders and civilians on a regular basis. Education, Requirements and Qualifications Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility is mandatory.Bachelor's degree required and Master's degree desired.Motivation, flexibility, and willingness to learn the CCIO-specific processes, tasks, and procedures is mandatory.Ability and desire to work as a member of a team is mandatory.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.Military, civilian, or contractor career field experience within any space operations, missile operations, space acquisitions, space communications, or space/missile maintenance area is desired.Familiarization gained from working within, or experience gained from supporting any of the following organizations’ missions: Space Delta-5, (previously known as the 614 Air Operations Center), Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC), Joint Force Space Component Command (JFSCC), Combined Force Space Component Command (CFSCC), Vandenberg Acquisition Support Team (VAST), Headquarters 14th Air Force (14 AF), 65th Cyber Squadron (65 CyS), 614th Air and Space Communications Squadron (614 ACOMS), 9th Combat Operations Squadron (9 COS), 148th Space Operations Squadron (148 SOPS), 216th Space Control Squadron (216 SPCS), 18th Space Defense Squadron (18 SDS), National Space Defense Center (NSDC), Space Systems Command (previously known as Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC)), or Space Launch Delta-30 (SLD-30) (previously known as 30th Space Wing (30 SW)), is helpful.Command and control (C2) experience is highly beneficial.
