Job Description

Transform technology into opportunity as an Integration Test Engineer with GDIT. A career in enterprise IT means connecting and enhancing the systems that matter most. At GDIT you’ll be at the forefront of innovation and play a meaningful part in improving how agencies operate.

Our work depends on 2 Integration Test Engineers to support our customer at Point Mugu, CA, The Joint Electronic Attack and Compatibility Office (JEACO) of the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWC-WD).  The software development work is for the Intrepid Tiger II (IT II) Family of Systems (FoS) Electronic Warfare (EW) systems that currently address communication threats.  The JEACO IT II FoS systems provide adaptable, distributed and networked electronic warfare capability for fixed wing, rotary wing, and tiltrotor wing USMC aircraft.  A new IT II FoS variant is in development that will address radar threats, and another future planned variant will be flown on an UAS aircraft.

Intrepid Tiger II was the first deployed weapon system that was integrated with the EW Services Architecture (EWSA). The EWSA is a services-oriented architecture that enables the system to be dynamically controlled and re-tasked real time through a secure, tactical radio network. It provides the architecture framework and control interface enabling a common command and control and planning capability.

JEACO follows a tailored Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development process.  JEACO also utilizes the Atlassian tool set (Jira and Confluence) and Microsoft Teams to plan and track tasking and enhance team collaboration.
