Under general supervision and within the scope of department services, the acupuncturist therapist serves as an integrative health practitioner who takes a holistic approach to the maintenance of health and management of disease with a focus on improving overall well-being.

Work requires approved licensure/certification by the Acupuncture Examining Board for the State of New Jersey, Department of Law & Public Safety, Division of Consumer Affairs, Newark, New Jersey. A minimum of three to five years of clinical experience providing acupuncture services
