As an Intellectual Property Portfolio Manager, you will harness the power of intellectual property in service of the overall objectives of the company. You will collaborate with select business units on a daily basis to address their risks and maximize the value of their intellectual assets. Key responsibilities
•    Lead training and awareness campaigns.
•    Conduct landscape and clearance assessments.
•    Coordinate efforts to harvest and protect high-value intellectual assets.
•    Review intellectual property clauses in contracts.
•    Monitor relevant markets for third-party infringement.
•    Review third-party allegations of infringement.
•    Review drafts of technical documents to prevent harmful disclosures.
•    Provide support for M&A due diligence.
•    Manage intellectual property expenses for cost-effectiveness.
•    Develop and implement strategies to improve the operation of the department.

Requirements
•    Bachelor's degree in engineering or in one of the following fields: electrical engineering, computer science or mechanical engineering.
•    3 to 5 years of experience in patent management.
•    Working knowledge of patent search tools.
•    Attention to detail coupled with the ability to synthesize complex information.
•    Excellent verbal, and written communication skills (French and English).
•    Team player adept at building strong relationships with stakeholders.
•    Effective at managing workloads and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
