It’s an exciting time to be part of IFF and we are seeking detail-oriented and organized Intellectual Property (IP) Specialist to join our Intellectual Property team.

You will be responsible for managing various IP-related tasks, including prepare formal documents, managing invention disclosure submission process and liaising with various legal functions. This role requires experience with IP database and invoice systems.

What You will do:

Document preparation: Draft and prepare formal documents, including Powers of Attorney, Assignments, and inventor/name changes

Coordinate with patent practitioners to prepare and file formalities and responses with the USPTO and WIPO

Inventor Communication: Communicate with inventors to collect information and signatures related to patent transmittals/filings

Invention Disclosure process:

Ensure accurate and complete information for new invention disclosure submissions

Verify data required by inventors

Inventor remuneration process:

Prepare and coordinate proper documents to comply with inventor remuneration requirements

Who You are:

2-5 years IP experience

Experience with IP database and invoice systems

Experience with Microsoft Office 360

Strong organizational and communication skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Knowledge of Global patent filing regulations and processes is a plus

Ability to manage deadlines, monitor prosecution docket, and comply with practice group procedures
