Job Title: Intelligence Analyst I
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with predictable coverage—3 days on night shift, followed by days off, then 3 days on day shift. While the role can follow a regular 9-5 schedule at times, candidates must be available to work nights and weekends as needed to support 24/7 security operations.

About the Role:Airswift is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intelligence Analyst I to join one of our major clients within the Oil & Gas industry. This critical role focuses on safeguarding the organization 24/7 by leveraging expertise in open-source intelligence, physical security, and global threat analysis. The GSOC Intelligence Analyst will support all aspects of corporate security operations and collaborate with various departments and business units. Success in this role requires teamwork, effective communication, and advanced analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:Monitor publicly available and privately sourced information to identify threats or incidents that could impact the security of personnel, facilities, operations, or reputation.
Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative research to analyze potential threats and provide intelligence assessments to inform decision-making.
Serve as a key information-gathering and communication hub for security or safety incidents across the enterprise.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the GSOC’s information and knowledge management systems and processes.
Support the monitoring of physical security access control systems and respond to alarms, breaches, malfunctions, or other security-related events as necessary.
Qualifications: Required:Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or at least one year of experience as an intelligence analyst in a corporate or government setting.
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as overtime as needed.
Strong analytical and advanced writing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and CoPilot.
Familiarity with physical security threats and trends within the United States.
Understanding of key geopolitical issues and their potential impact on security.
Preferred:Experience using video monitoring, access control, and alarm monitoring applications (e.g., Lenel/OnGuard).
Knowledge of the oil and gas industry or other critical infrastructure sectors.
Experience utilizing traveler tracking systems.
Proficiency in geographic information system (GIS) and data visualization tools.
Intermediate or advanced proficiency in a language other than English.
Skills & Competencies:Strong analytical and writing capabilities, with experience monitoring open-source intelligence (OSINT) to proactively identify physical security threats.
Familiarity with corporate security operations, including travel security, OSINT tools, security technology systems, domestic and international threat environments, executive protection, and security assessments.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with availability for overtime when required.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Effective collaboration and communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
