Summary THIS IS AN INDIANA NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This position is part of the IN JFHQ IN J2 3 7, Indiana National Guard under Position Description Number D1155000. Responsibilities Assists the Senior Intelligence Officer in assuring the Intelligence function maintains a capability to provide timely and accurate operational intelligence support etc. Performs assigned operational intelligence collection, fusion and analysis, and, based on thorough understanding of the significance of conditions and trends, develops and projects data and draws meaningful conclusions etc. Incumbent is recognized as a subject matter expert on order of battle and threat weapons systems Incumbent serves as the Geospatial (mapping) manager for the J2. Incumbent directs or assists in the direction of the security functions within the J2 section and oversees unit security inspections, security briefings and other security operations. Incumbent directs or assists in the direction of antiterrorism/force protection planning and execution and provides antiterrorism and/or force protection (AT/FP) Level-One Training to subordinate units. Incumbent is recognized as an organizational expert within functional assignment. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications MILITARY GRADES: E5 THROUGH E9 & WO1 THROUGH CW5 & OQ THROUGH O3 COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: 35, 17, 350, 170 SERIES The policy to have a compatible MOS/AFSC has been suspended. When reinstated, you will have one year to meet the qualifications of this position or meet the requirements in the guidance set by NGB. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which demonstrates administrative, professional, investigative, or technical work requiring the ability to deal effectively with others, to collect, evaluate and organize pertinent facts. Experience preparing clear and concise written reports. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 36 months experience, education, or training at least 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent. developing and recommending policy, organizing and carrying out specific programs, experience, education or training developing and recommending policy, organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of intelligence operations. Experience in administrative, investigative, or technical work which required the applicant to deal effectively with others. Experience collecting, evaluating and organizing pertinent facts and to analyze and prepare clear and concise reports. Must have a top secret security clearance. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
