Great American is looking for an Intelligent Automation Portfolio Architect to join their Enterprise Architecture team within the Chief Technology Office. The role involves working with the Great American Divisions to help them define both tactical and cutting-edge solutions using Robotic, cognitive automation, AI/ML and advanced analytics and transform their business workflows and operating models. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, thought leader, influencer, and solution provider with a strong background in defining and implementing intelligent process automation technology solutions across the core insurance value chain.
Responsibilities:
Partner with business units and shared services organizations to understand their workflows and identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and simplification using automation and advanced data and analytics solutions and technologies.
Function as the lead portfolio architect on the Intelligent process automation portfolio of projects.
Influence, assess, and architect the Develop and maintain the company’s intelligent automation portfolio of technologies including identification of best fit along with reference architectures to implement and operationalize.
Lead the design and implementation of automation solutions across various business units.
Influence key stakeholders to create automation solutions that enable productivity improvements, straight through processing and improved decision making
Lead and identify needs for technology investments in automation by conducting POCs and POVs in collaboration with various technology and business groups
Identify opportunities for automation, create a compelling business case, evangelize and influence business partners to adopt
Provide thought leadership in the field of intelligent automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in intelligent automation
Gather the requirements from the business users, define functional requirements and design the automation workflows.
Design, Architect, and Implement Automation solutions across platforms
Prepare Solution Design Documents and present to stake holders for approvals.
Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for the pre -UAT & UAT phases
Review developed workflows, perform quality assurance by executing the test cases and providing feedback to the development team.
Qualifications:
Insurance domain expertise, a deep knowledge of various insurance functions across the value chain – Underwriting, Claims, Pricing etc.
Proven experience as an Architect in the field of Intelligent Automation.
Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
Ability to provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
Strong knowledge of automation technologies and tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience:
5 – 8 years of solution architecture experience in Intelligent Automation.
At least one year of experience as an Intelligent Process Automation software developer
Experience with Automation Anywhere/Microsoft Power Automate preferred.
Ability to coordinate with all levels of the organization to design and deliver automation solutions.
Good knowledge of automation quality standards and best practices.
Azure/AWS cloud knowledge, IT Infrastructure knowledge including Security.
