These resources will contribute to the overall expansion, maintenance, and step change manufacturing capability of the site. Successful candidates will break down technical barriers to success, guide project teams through innovation projects, and / bring new capacity to our site. REQUIREMENTS

Provides technical leadership in supporting OU (what does this stand for?) innovation projects. Acts as a key enabler in leading and delivering results against challenges. Works with innovation team looking at new platforms, machine control, data processing and analytics. Helps develop capability in others.

As a ICA Leader you will be accountable for

Building the Intelligent Control Automation (ICA) team Capability and providing them technical and leadership coachingManaging and distributing tasks and projects across multiple ICA technician direct reportsDrive Logic / integration improvement to continue improve Quality and ProductivityEliminating losses by solving issue through root cause analysis and providing feedback to designDevelop the Preventive maintenance strategy.  Benchmark internally /externally to bring Up-to-date technology and solution to the department.

Job Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

BS/MS degree in Engineering.  Preferred:  Electrical or Systems.  We may consider other engineer degrees if you have relevant engineering work experience. 

Strong leadership, business problem definition, and priority setting skills.An aptitude for communicating insights and collaborating across teams/organizations.

PREFERRED: Below skills will be needed in the job and is a big plus.  

Experience with Industrial PLC, especially with Rockwell, Siemens and/or Beckhoff Controllers. Experience with computer and industrial networks.Proven expertise with sensors, motors, PLC’s, and industrial automation - Robotics, Machine Vision, and/or Networking skills are a plus.Programming knowledge and experience desired, i.e., Python, LabVIEW, Java, C#, etc.
