Intenational Consumer Banking - Risk Data Team Lead - Vice President

As a Vice President ,you will  provide leadership for our Risk data management and reporting initiatives within the International Consumer Bank (ICB).You will manage the ICB Risk Data infrastructure and play an integral role in driving strategic and operational data initiatives in partnership with our ICB Risk teams and cross-functional partners across ICB, as well as partners across the broader Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) organization. Job responsibilities:

Act as the ICB Risk Data Management Lead responsible for: Act as Risk Data Owner, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all risk data assets by monitoring risk view volumes, conducting continuous reviews, analysing view-level breakdowns for optimization, performing daily data freshness and volumetric checks, and promptly resolving issues in failed views. Serve as the representative for ICB Risk Data in meetings, acting as the primary point of contact and escalation for any data management issues, ensuring effective communication and resolution of concerns. Chair the monthly Risk Data Oversight Forum (RDOF) Collaborate with senior stakeholders and data partners across the globe to deliver on ICB Risk data requirements. This includes fostering close partnerships with ICB cross-functional teams like Risk, Data Engineering, Data Tribe, Chief Data Office, Operations and CCB Risk Data peers.  Data Quality Management. including the implementation, monitoring and analysis of Business Data Quality (BDQ) rules for risk management. Data depreciation management of Risk Views through data usage monitoring and reporting.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role and a strong understanding of, and experience in, designing and implementing data models, dashboards and reports. Experience working in the financial services industry, particularly within Consumer Credit and Fraud Risk domains. Demonstrated experience in prioritising projects, problem solving and influencing stakeholders.  Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to translate complex issues into actionable, high-quality solutions.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  Proven knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards. Experience with Athena, Redshift, DBT, and other cloud data platforms
