New River Valley Community Services, one of the largest Community Service Boards in Virginia, works hard to stay on the pulse of the innovative, evidence-based practices for providing high quality care to the NRV and we can use your assistance! We are seeking intensive clinicians to work with youth ages 3-18 in their home and community settings, as part of our Intensive Services children's team. Services are provided to youth and their families to prevent out of home/community placement. Both clinical and case management services are provided as part of this position.
We offer flexible scheduling, licensure supervision for LPC and LCSW residents and supervisees, and are a National Health Services Corps Loan Repayment site. Full time staff receive a complete benefits package including health insurance, Virginia Retirement System, PTO, life insurance, and more.
Starting Salary:
Intensive Clinician I: $51,721
Intensive Clinician II: $64,996
Education Requirements:
Intensive Clinician I:
Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or other license-eligible human services related field is required. Registration with the Virginia Board of Social Work as Supervisee in Social Work, or Board of Counseling as Resident in Counseling is required.Intensive Clinician II:
Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or other license-eligible human services related field is required. State of Virginia licensure is required in Professional Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related field.
