This position will support the Day Shift Schedule.
HOW OUR INTERCEPT MONITOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Provide 24/7 real-time monitoring of networks utilizing customer provided tools/capabilities and dashboards
Monitor TR’s that contain Interceptor devices and respond to any alarms.
Utilize enterprise network monitoring tools to provide situational awareness and facilitate response to real-time alerts for Service Restoral Team
Responsible for monitoring, opening, assigning, updating, and closing tickets within the Service Now ticket system
Notify Manager on Duty (MOD) when an alert is detected and determined to be an incident, create ticket to assist Service Restoral MOD to address/dispatch tech’s
Provide effective situational awareness of event resolution status
Provides phone support
Supports the completion of technical tasks.
Assists with the solutions to technical problems of limited scope.
Assists with the coordination for new products, software, upgrades, and equipment.
Assists with monitoring of the systems hardware and software and performs regular maintenance on all software and associated equipment.
Supports the review, back up, and systems updates regularly, documenting changes and systems operation.
Assists with the monitoring and support of a variety of security measures and standards for all computer software and hardware.
Assists with documentation for processes and procedure related to computer systems and operations.
WHT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Security Clearance Level: Active Secret Clearance
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
Required Experience: 2+ years of directly related experience in network monitoring and administration.
Required Technical Skills: Active Security +CE or DoD 8140 Certification (formerly 8570). Basic knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing facilities security. Effective administrative and organizational skills. Effective communication skills.
Location: On Customer Site
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Familiar with Network Monitoring Tools (i.e. NetCool)
2 years of related experience in facility or industrial security administration, preferably in the government contracting industry.
