Responsibilities Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, composed of architects, engineers, geologists, environmental planners and safety professionals. Direct Architect-Engineering (A-E) resources. Serve as Design Manager at both the Program and Project level. Provide input (i.e. scope of tasks, schedules, cost estimates, quality control measures, etc.) to the Project Management Plan (PMP). Develop the Scope of Work for A-E and in-house projects based on input from other technical personnel and basic project information such as type and size of required installation, directives, feasibility studies, and liaison with pertinent contacts. Recommend selection of, negotiates with, and manages A-E contractors in support of assigned products. Solve, advise on, or evaluate complex project and design management problems. Reviews work by less experienced Technical Leads for accuracy and provides guidance.
