Interim Manager, Destination Marketing Continental Europe (8 month FTC)

We have more than 100 million members in our award–winning customer loyalty program, Hilton Honors\. _This is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave till the end of October_ **Position Statement:** The Manager will be responsible for defining, creating, and delivering exceptional data driven, customer centric solutions that drive competitive commercial advantage for our hotels and ownership groups within a specific region\. Crucial to this role is executing the Marketing and eCommerce strategy in support of the defined region\. Responsibilities will include: • Delivering the strategy and approach for defined destination\(s\), customer segments and customer origin • Driving Marketing and eCommerce activity to meet revenue and share targets • Supporting in\-market relationships to improve effectiveness of Marketing activities • Measuring and reporting on regional performance and communicating with hotel\-level and above property contacts • Effective collaboration and partnership with hotel\-level destination contacts as well as central teams • Responsible for maintaining and optimising presence and performance of hotel\-level digital efforts\.   **Position Summary:** Support the delivery of a tailored annual Marketing plan, including offline and digital destination\-specific campaigns throughout the year, leveraging Enterprise campaigns wherever possible and adapting to business needs as they arise\. • Plan and execute campaigns across online and offline media for B2C • Support development of Marketing Plans as initiated by Director/Senior Manager Destination Marketing • Manage resources and budget for the region • Liaise with the relevant teams for campaign execution • Develop positive local partner, agency and hotel relationships with senior stakeholders • Act as a liaison with Hotel Marketing & Regional Marketing & eCommerce Services • Deliver reporting on a weekly, month, quarterly and adhoc basis across the business • Create and deliver presentations and destination performance reports as directed by Directors and Senior Managers • Manage PR, Influencer and social media outreach • Provide support to all hotels in the destination to optimise their online and offline hotel presence, with a focus on growing book direct revenue and channel mix • Support performance of non\-contracted leisure business by being accountable for commercial channel performance to the destination • Partner with colleagues in other primary and secondary destinations to build outbound source\-market activity across markets • Engage and support an entrepreneurial and agile team culture\. • No direct reports • Travel requirements: as required **What are we looking for?** To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience: •BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree or experience in lieu of • Supervisory experience • Previous experience in independently planning and executing marketing campaigns across online and offline media • Ability to work with commercial data, data analytics \(Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics\) & insights and interpret them campaign reporting experience • Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask • Attention to detail • Good command of MS Office \(PowerPoint, Excel, Word\) • Team player with a positive can do attitude • Ability to work independently and with certain level of ambiguity • Experience of setting up partnerships with external parties beneficial but not essential It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: • Hospitality experience • Italian, French or Spanish language **What will it be like to work for Hilton?** Hilton is the leading global hospitality company, spanning the lodging sector from luxurious full\-service hotels and resorts to extended\-stay suites and mid\-priced hotels\.
