The Interior Designer oversees the sourcing, curation, and styling of artwork, décor, furniture, and fixtures for both new and existing restaurants. This role involves managing procurement, logistics, and vendor relationships while ensuring brand consistency in restaurant styling. Additionally, the position is responsible for overseeing restoration and remodel projects, proactively maintaining restaurant aesthetics, and managing annual budgeting for upgrades. The ideal candidate will also lead special design initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and execute unique branding projects.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST
Manage our Found Goods Procurement & Restaurant Styling processManage procurement, inventory, invoicing, logistics, and deployment of our art and found goods for both NSO and existing restaurants.Style new and existing restaurants with found goods including artwork, décor, furniture, fixtures, and decorative lighting. Attend found goods shows such as Round Top. Develop and maintain key relationships with pickers, vendors, and industry professionals. Manage or self-perform mural and art wall installation for both new and existing restaurants. Own and manage the full lifecycle of the restoration and remodels of our existing restaurants. Own and manage the ongoing needs of existing restaurants being proactive on when they need front of house, back of house, patio, landscape, or other enhancements. Maintain brand standards for lighting, décor, and restaurant styling for existing restaurants including creating and implementing SOPs to restaurants. Manage annual budgeting and prioritization of restoration and remodels. Own internal cross-functional design requests such as new pylon signage, to-go signage, existing floor plan layouts and other such ongoing requests from Marketing, Operations, Facilities and others. Manage special design projects such as Wine Cult display cases, Company Vision Board(s) and other such initiatives.WHY YOU'LL LOVE UPWARD PROJECTS

Experience with a preference in retail, restaurants, or hospitality design projects would be a plus. Knowledge of design software suites. Proficient experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft, and project management tools. Understanding of color theory, space planning, and design trends. Salary Description $75,000 to $80,000 base salary
