Job Title: Interior Designer
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will report to one of our Senior Interior Designers and collaborate with clients and project team members to understand and deliver on project needs. You will be responsible for creating 3D renderings, client presentations, and providing a full range of interior design services. This includes planning, generating design concepts/renderings, preparing design presentations, and completing construction documents and specifications. Additionally, you will work with manufacturers and product vendors on selections, assist with sample ordering, and manage our interior materials library.

ResponsibilitiesMeet with clients and project team members to understand project needs.Create 3D renderings and client presentations.Provide a full range of interior design services, including planning, generating design concepts/renderings, preparing design presentations, completing construction documents, and specifications.Work with manufacturers and product vendors on selections, assist with sample ordering, and put together furniture packages.Manage the interior materials library.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit, Enscape, Sketchup, and other 3D rendering software.Experience in architecture, interior design, and architectural design.Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite.Experience in healthcare design and senior living projects.Knowledge of construction documentation, design development, space planning, and rendering.Client-facing experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Interior Design or equivalent.5 or more years of experience at a traditional architecture firm.NCIDQ certification is a plus, but not required.Work Environment

We are a 14-person firm located in the West Loop area with a beautiful, new office space. Our open-concept office allows for collaboration, and everyone, including the principals, sits together. We have a large kitchen with a big island and lounge space where most people eat lunch together each day. The office is located in the Greektown/West Loop area, surrounded by numerous businesses, restaurants, and coffee shops. This position offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, from 8:30 am to 5:15 pm. Initially, you will work 100% in-office until you are fully up and running. We advocate for a strong work/life balance and do not expect employees to work beyond these hours. Our dress code is business casual (jeans and nice tops). We provide all full-time employees with an iPad, iPhone, laptop, quarterly bonuses, Metra/CTA reimbursement, and licensure support.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00
