A full-service practice specializing in architecture, planning, and interior design is looking for an Intermediate level Architect for their Millburn, NJ branch. The firm serves clients across a diverse range of sectors, including commercial, education, finance, retail, healthcare, multi-family residential, restoration, institutional, religious, sports, technology, and media.
This position involves executing design tasks with precision, adhering to deadlines, and following internal workflows. You should be skilled in using drafting, modeling, and presentation software, capable of visualizing design concepts. A key aspect of the role is to integrate new technologies and workflows into the design process.

Responsibilities: Manage deliverable schedules and outline tasks to ensure timely completion. Create and adhere to internal workflows for various tasks. Apply office standards and software knowledge to design tasks, including drafting, modeling, and visualization. Conduct site surveys Implement new workflows and technologies to enhance the design process. Produce schematic design packages with minimal oversight, including imagery, drawings, material palettes, and 3D visuals. Generate and assess design ideas and project goals based on client needs and project feasibility. Inspire and guide team members through all project phases. Support professional development of peers through mentorship and feedback. Bring enthusiasm and innovation to each design prompt. Manage multiple projects efficiently, keeping track of deadlines and deliverables. Engage with the design community by attending events, sharing knowledge, and promoting the firm's approach. Communicate effectively, tailoring information to the audience and goals.Requirements: Architecture degree A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.  Effective at balancing project requirements, deadlines, and team dynamics. Demonstrates commitment to ongoing professional development and industry engagement. Proficient in Revit/BIM, Rhino, Toolbelt, Lumion/Enscape, and other firm-standard software. Understand space planning, ADA standards, building code compliance, and egress.
