Job Responsibilities:\n

Provides subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. \n
\n

Job Description: \n\nDeploying, managing, and operating workloads on AWS as well as implementing security controls and compliance requirements.\nDefine requirements, create functional models, and develop architectural processes.\nOptimize system operations using AWS tools like Kubernetes and Docker.\nEnsure alignment with security protocols and standards for cloud services.\n\n
\n

Qualifications:\n\nTen (10) years of overall experience in one or more of the functional areas listed below. A bachelor's degree in related field required. A master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience. \nTen (10) years IT systems administrative experience with both Microsoft and Linux platforms. Proficient understanding of maintenance (patching, STIG, and upgrade processes) on AWS cloud infrastructure. \nDemonstrated experience and\/or training in system administration related to ability to manage and operate workloads on AWS systems.\nDemonstrated experience in system administration support and management related to Amazon EKS. \nDemonstrated experience in system administration and supporting development and test teams in AWS and along with an applied understanding of Kubernetes and traditional RHEL servers.\nKubernetes CKA certification and\/or training and two years applied experience on containerized platforms.\nTS\/SCI clearance required.\n\n

An intermediate level AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrator should have at least two (2) of the following Trainings or Certifications below and at least one (1) year applied experience with Container Orchestration and\/or application deployment. Two (2) years proven relevant experience may be substituted as applicable to each certification. \n
\n\nAWS Cloud Practitioner (Foundational) \nAWS SysOps Administrator (Associate) \nOperating a Production Kubernetes Cluster\nKubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA) \nCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) \nRed Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)\nRH294: RHEL Linux Automation with Ansible\n\n
