Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure efficient and sustainable building systems in the HVAC team located in our Sudbury office
 
What a day at EXP has in store for you

Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial and residential projects Conduct load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout Collaborate with project teams to integrate MEP systems into building designs Prepare technical specifications and documentation for HVAC systems Perform energy modeling and analysis to support sustainable design initiatives Review and coordinate with contractors during the construction phase to ensure design compliance Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations

What your experience looks like

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP engineering with a focus on HVAC design Licensed Professional Engineer Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace, etc.) Strong understanding of building codes and standards Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective communication and teamwork abilities
