Job Summary:
As an Intermediate Civil/Structural Designer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of energy projects by creating detailed civil and structural 3D Models & Drawings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design Development
+ Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings, layouts, and 3D models using industry-standard software.
+ Assist in the development of design concepts, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
+ Revise and update drawings based on project changes, stakeholder feedback, and engineering reviews.
2. Collaboration & Coordination
+ Work closely with engineers and other design professionals to ensure seamless integration of civil and structural elements.
+ Participate in project meetings to understand design requirements and resolve technical issues.
+ Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
3. Quality Assurance
+ Ensure all drawings and models adhere to applicable codes, standards, and company quality procedures.
+ Perform self-checks and peer reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables.
+ Maintain organized records of design files and project documentation.
4. Technical Support
+ Provide support during construction by preparing as-built drawings and addressing technical queries.
+ Assist in the preparation of design reports and technical documentation.
+ Support the implementation of innovative design solutions to meet project objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
+ Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Design, Drafting, or a related field.
+ 5–10 years of experience in civil/structural design, preferably in energy projects.
+ Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation) and 3D modeling tools (e.g., Advance Steel, Tekla, Revit).
+ Experience in CADWorx is a bonus.
+ Strong understanding of Greek and EU civil and structural engineering principles and industry standards.
+ Experience on North American projects is a bonus.
+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
+ Ability to work independently.
+ Fluency in English.
