As an Advanced Modeling Engineer (Intern) at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be working in the Technology Development (TD) group supporting the modeling and simulation of next generation memory technologies! This position is in Hyderabad, IN, where you will work with a team of engineers working on various advanced modeling programs.
Your role comprises mainly of executing a project working with the team across Hyderabad, IN, and Boise, ID. This project can involve developing and validating process/structure models. You will report results to the TD team of modeling engineers and collaborating with them on next steps. This position seeks individuals that can code and implement predictive and prescriptive models!
Qualifications:
Independence – be comfortable executing activities and needs
Good written and verbal communication
Outstanding teamwork
Experience on algorithm development, numerical methods, and scientific computing
Strong background in solid and fracture mechanics
Experience with computational materials science methodologies
Familiar with machine learning and deep learning concepts and applications
Familiar with FEA, FVM, PFM, HPEM methods and implementations
Experience with Bash, Python, Perl/TCl/MATLAB, or C++
Experience with HPC on Linux environment
Strong debug and problem-solving skills
Experience writing reports and/or conference papers
Experience with regression, neural networks, and frameworks
Previous process modeling software development experience
Ability to work in a team environment and experience with remote collaboration tools
Background in semiconductor process development or integration is encouraged
Education Requirements:
Pursuing Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science within the past two years
