What will you do?

Work closely with scientists to advance early-stage drug discovery program as a member of the biology team In collaboration with your supervisor, learn and develop skills to design and execute experiments to answer biological questions relevant to the targets of interest Participate in project and cross-functional team meetings to share results and seek feedback Review and discuss scientific literature to identify assays to support validation of mechanism of action of target of interest Maintain cell lines in culture to be utilized in experiments Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

 

What minimum qualifications do we require?

Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering or a related field Interested in Biology drug discovery, cell and molecular biology Fundamental understanding of cellular biology Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques 0-2 years independent laboratory research Experience with basic lab techniques (pipetting, molecular biology, western blot, flow cytometry, ELISA)
