This internship is a phenomenal opportunity to gain real-world experience while working at the world's leading specialty measurement company. This internship will last approximately ten weeks and the program will commence in the spring/summer of 2025.

Responsibilities Assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using AWS services.Work with Web Cloud Engineering team to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.Participate in the automation of cloud infrastructure and configuration management.Work with cloud monitoring tools to ensure system health and scalability.Collaborate with application teams to identify and resolve infrastructure and application performance issues.Support the development and management of CI/CD pipelines for efficient cloud deployments.Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cloud security practices and access control.Help document cloud architectures, processes, and procedures.Conduct research to stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and tools.Participate in cross-functional team meetings and communicate progress and challenges.Assist with troubleshooting and resolving cloud-based issues.Support ongoing cloud optimization efforts to reduce costs and improve performance. Qualifications Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field at an accredited university or collegeBasic understanding of cloud computing, AWS services(EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, etc), and infrastructure management.Familiarity with cloud-related technologies such as AWS, Terraform, and containerization tools.Interest in learning about cloud security, automation, and scaling cloud infrastructure.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Proficiency with Git/GitHub for version control.Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to adapt to new technologies and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to assess issues, analyze technical problems, and come up with innovative solutions to overcome challenges.Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to stay focused on tasks, ensuring the accuracy of deliverables.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey technical concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
