Key responsibilities for this role include:

Assist with site continuous improvement initiatives.

Assist with the creation of project resources and tools.

Assist with identifying waste reduction opportunities using continuous improvement methodologies (value stream mapping, 5S, kanban, etc.).

Assist with root cause analysis using continuous improvement methodologies (Ishikawa diagram, FMEA, 5 whys, etc.).

Participate in project review meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

The successful candidate will have preferably completed a minimum of their sophomore year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a Engineering, Business or Finance (i.e., or a related field of study). A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred; however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

Strong interest in process improvement and project management.

Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required.

Must possess knowledge of MS Office; specifically, MS Excel & PowerPoint.

Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, strong organization and analytical skills, ability to set and work to deadlines.

The salary range for this position is: If pursuing Bachelors degree = $20/hour; if pursuing Masters degree = $25/hour; if pursuing Doctorate degree = $30/hour.
