About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Group Internal Audit (GIA) team as an Information Technology Audit Intern. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical work experience in the field of Internal Audit while supporting the development of audit management tools and reports, planning, monitoring, and assisting with delivery of the audit plan. The intern will work closely with members of GIA and contribute to the overall success of the company. Join us!

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of audit management tools and reports:

Collaborate with the GIA team to identify user and technical requirementsAssist in the development and implementation of tools and reports supporting the day-to-day Internal Audit operationsSuggest improvements and upgrades to the established tools and reports to enhance effectiveness and efficiency
 

Support ongoing planning and monitoring of the audit plan:

Review and confirm alignment of audit deliverables with the GIA annual audit planHelp track and monitor the progress of audits to ensure adherence to timelinesContribute to the identification of potential risks or inconsistenciesAssist in generating reports and analysing audit data
 

As the need arises, assist with delivery on aspects of the audit plan:

Under supervision, gain exposure to and participate in audit engagements including audit fieldworkAssist in analysing audit findings and preparing draft reportsSupport GIA activities as the need arises
 

Qualifications:

University graduate or undergraduateGood command of EnglishOrganized and possess solid analytical skills with strong attention to detailsSolid knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: VBA, Python, PowerShell, C#Demonstrate the ability to problem solve and work independentlyAble to collaborate with senior staff, raise issues and ask questionsProficient in Microsoft Office, MS Access
 

This internship is part-time, targeting a commitment of 4 days per week, with some flexibility as necessary. The duration of the internship will be specified based on the needs of the department and the availability of the intern.
