**SUMMARY**
SHRM’s paid internship program enables students toparticipatein valuable real-world work experience through various tailored assignments within their areas of interest and fields of study. Students will be tasked with different team-specific projects, and tasks, andparticipatein professional development projects and events to prepare them for their future careers.This role is responsible for providing support in the way of project management, change management, and communications. The intern will be providing support to ongoingtechnologytransformationprojects. Specific responsibilities may includedrafting reports, communications, and project plans.
This is a paid internship starting at $20.00/Hour.
This is a10-week,summer internship from June3, 2025 - August7, 2025.
**Responsibilities:**
**Report Preparation:**
+ Collect, analyze, and synthesize data to developcomprehensive and visually engaging reports.
+ Design dashboards, charts, and presentations to communicate key findings and insights effectively.
+ Support in tracking and reporting on project progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and milestones.
**Communications Development:**
+ Draft clear, concise, and professionalinternal and external communicationsrelated to project updates, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure communication materials align with project goals and organizational standards.
+ Assistin creating user-friendly guides, FAQs, and other supporting materials for project stakeholders.
**Project Planning and Support:**
+ Assistin developing andmaintainingdetailedproject plans, timelines, and task trackers.
+ Support project coordination activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting action items.
+ Identifyrisks, dependencies, and resource constraints, and escalate them as needed to project leads.
**Stakeholder Engagement:**
+ Support in managing stakeholder communications by gathering feedback, documenting requirements, and addressing questions.
+ Participate in workshops, brainstorming sessions, and team meetings to contribute ideas and insights.
Education & Experience Requirements
+ Currently pursuing abachelor’s degree inBusiness, Operations, Technology, or Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
+ 0-3 years of relevant work experience

**Physical Requirements**
+ Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonableaccommodations.
+ Work isgenerally donesitting, talking, hearing, and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures; transcribe, view a computer terminal; extensive reading.
**Work environment**
+ SHRM doesoperateunder a hybrid work schedule and will require you to be in SHRM’s headquarters in Alexandria, VA on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays will be working remotely.
+ Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and conference settings and routinely uses standard office equipment.
