General Function
The Distribution Center Operations Intern is a support role for the warehouse team with exposure to multiple operational teams and processes. Assist in various operations within the distribution center, supporting inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and general warehouse tasks. Gain professional work experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while learning about the logistics and supply chain industry.
Essential Responsibilities
Assist with receiving, sorting, and storing incoming products. Help track and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts. Support the preparation and packing of orders for shipment. Contribute to the optimization of workflows and efficiency in the distribution center. Conduct quality checks on products and ensure they meet Company standards. Assist with labeling, scanning, and organizing products within the warehouse. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to process improvements Support the team with special projects as needed. Hands-on experience in several Distribution Center departments including order fulfillment, shipping, operations, velocity, inventory control, and facilities Utilize data collection and analysis to formulate reports Summarize reports, organize materials, and present findings, conclusions, and recommendations to the leadership teamOther Duties

Qualifications
Currently enrolled and working to complete a Bachelor's degree in a program related to Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or related field Ability to read and write reports and business correspondence Ability to effectively present information to peers and management Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to create formulas, v-lookups, and pivot tables Must be able to communicate effectively Ability to calculate simple math, percents, and ratiosPhysical Requirements / Work Environment

The level of noise in the working environment is moderate to loud. Protective clothing and/or equipment used in this position includes ear protection, eye protection, gloves, and steel-toed shoes Vision requirements include close and distance vision. This position requires regular use of a computer, copier, and other standard office equipment. The level of noise in the office-working environment is quiet.
