Facility Management Intern - Winthrop, MA\n\nThe MWRA Maintenance Department has an opening for an internship. The Maintenance Department provides technical support in the shop or field with predictive maintenance technologies and techniques for the Deer Island Treatment Plant, one of the largest treatment plants in the United States. \n\n
ESSENITAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nTake infrared temperature readings, and enter related data in Excel spreadsheets.\nAssist with oil samples using the Fluidscan handheld monitor.\nLabel\/tag equipment in the field; make changes or additions in the Maximo work order system. \nGather equipment asset information or inventory, for motors, gearboxes, pumps, and then enter information in spreadsheets and\/or the Maximo database.\nAssist with waste oil audits in the field. \nAssist CMG Project Managers with condition monitoring tasks in the shop, and with predictive maintenance functions in the field.\nGenerate reports with photos and\/or attachments, using Word, Excel, or Maximo.\nRead prints and schematics to identify and verify field equipment and their locations, and tag equipment with MWRA ID numbers in the field, as required.\nPerforms other related duties as required.\n\n
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nStrong communications skills.\nUses the Authority's laptop or desktop PC to perform data entries, run queries and reports.\nAssists CMG staff in the shop or field with predictive maintenance tasks and use of predictive maintenance technologies and techniques.\nEnters data and related equipment measurements and information in Excel spreadsheet format or in the Maximo database.\n\n
REQUIREMENTS:\n\nMust have a valid driver's license.\n\n
