• Performing physical weighing of the Aircraft, assemblies or components.
• Calculations for Weight and Centre of Gravity of the Aircraft.
• Creation of the Weight and Balance Reports.
• Defining in the Weight and Centre of Gravity limitations for the Aircraft, ballast requirements for Final Assembly Line and technical analyses.
• Monitor Suppliers weights and perform Supplier audits, as needed.
• Support to Production for a Typical Line Move or Jacking activity.
• Seeking continual improvement of Mass Properties Processes, Procedures and Software Tools.
• You are a student in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, computer or software engineering.
• You have good oral and technical writing skills in English (French is an asset).
• You are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and most notably Excel.
• You possess good working knowledge CATIA V5.
• Ability to program using VBA (great assets to have), as well as MATLAB, Python or SciLab scripts is an asset.
• You possess good interpersonal skills in order to work well in a team and interface with other groups.
• You can work independently and demonstrate initiative to achieve the goals established for you.
• Occasional support outside of core hours, possibility to be on-call.
